AAKRITI'S POV.

Slowly and carefully, I removed his hand from my waist and looked at him, oh how badly I wanted to pinch those cheeks of his, but no. I won't.

I can't.

Sighing, I went towards my little babies room.

As I entered into their room, I was met with an adorable sight making all my worries fade away.

Avyan was sleeping like a statue, not at all moving while my Advika, she had one leg hanging down the bed and the other one pushing Avyan.

Waking them up, and getting them ready, we went down.

"Krituuuuu, why didn't you wake me up today", Ansh whispered in my ears while picking the little ones and kissing them on their cheeks, still looking at me.

Not paying much attention to him, I moved towards kitchen, and the elders have gone on a trip, while it's just me, Ansh, the twins, Shourya and Meera. Bhaiya and Sameeksha Bhabhi with Arhaan are staying in bhabhi's maika as there's a function for them to attend.

I made some sandwiches for the twin's lunch and some pohe for breakfast.

Serving everyone, I sat next to Meera which is opposite to Ansh and my usual place. While everyone were busy looking at me confusingly, there was Ansh who seemed kind of disappointed.

I saw him eat only one sandwich; I knew he was sad.

"I will be leaving now", Ansh said looking at me.

I sighed and nodded.

While feeding a bite to Avi, I saw him still standing near the door and I knew he was waiting for the hug and kiss we share before he leaves.

Eventually I saw him leaving.

Soon enough, Shourya helped me by dropping the twins to their school.

I dropped Meera at her college and left for my workspace.

Entering, The Rawat Space, I greeted back my employees and moved into my cabin, just see a bouquet of tulips, specifically pink yellow and white tulips on my desk.

Knowing who dropped it here, I walked towards it and took out the note attached to it.

"My dearest wifey,

I really don't know why you are avoiding or more even ignoring me since 2days but I know, I would have surely done something wrong and that is the reason for your ignorance. Maybe I deserve it, but kriti, I am genuinely sorry about it, just tell me my mistake, I will surely mend it and make sure I wouldn't repeat it in the future. Did you know, these tulips show that I am sorry, I hope you forgive me, please baby, nothing hurts me more than your ignorance, I promise I will make it up to you also these flowers are so beautiful, just like you so they only belong to you, should we grow them at our garden, is that possible?? For now forgive me baby.

Sighing I kept the letter away and the bouquet aside, and started with my work.

30 minutes into the work, I saw a notification appear,

"Would you go on a date with me, tonight, love?"

"No"

I curtly replied, and continued with my work, but I did get informed that Mr.Singhania is really mad at every single person, today.

It was now 1:00 p.m and by now I had 35+ missed calls from Ansh.

At this point I was soo frustrated.

"I am leaving, I hope there is no meeting scheduled for today", I asked my secretary.

"No mam, it is clear".

Nodding I left my building.

DEVANSH'S POV.

Its 2p.m now. I have called her numerous times now, I don't even know what happened all of a sudden that she started ignoring me. Never in all the years we've been together, something like has happened.

It hurts now.

I may make myself all busy but at the end of the day she is my home.

I am sane, if she is with me, beside me, every time, everyday, at every step.

She is that magic which made my life worth living. She is that angle, who sprinkled happiness when my life was nothing but a dark tunnel.

"Sir, your lunch", Vinay said coming in not before asking my permission.

"I am not really hungry Vinay, take it back", I said in a calm voice.

"Sir but-

"Vinay leave, if you don't want me to yell right on your face".

And le left.

What if my kriti leaves the same way??

No, no devansh, she loves you, you love her, think positive.

Just like that, I drowned myself into work.

7:00 p.m and kriti still didn't respond to any of my calls, except her saying no for the date.

Sighing I left the building heading towards home.

On the way, I saw the building where we rented one house, which made us strong, which deepened our bond, where I grew with her. I smiled, thankful.

Ringing the doorbell, Kriti opened it, I smiled and stepped towards her to hug but she stepped back, and I immediately fisted my palm and blankly stared at her.

"We need to talk, could you please get changed real quick", Kriti said closing the door.

I took in a deep breath and moved upstairs.

Twisting the knob, I switched on the lights since it was dim? but why?

"What.The.Fuck", I uttered.

And suddenly felt two arms circling my torso from the back while I was still processing the way our room was.

Red and white balloons, fairy lights at the balcony, candles, and ohh her perfume fragrance.

Kriti came infront of me and smiled,

Ok, I sure am confused now.

"Ansh?".

"Kriti, what? Why?",

"Shushhhh, patidev, how's the surprise?"

"Surprise?"

"Why are sooo dumb, this is your surprise"

"But you were ignoring me right?", I asked in disbelief.

"Hubby, woh kya hu na........."

"I am waiting Kriti, answer me"

"I saw a reel on Instagram, 'ignoring my husband' prank, and I also wanted to do that, also I was planning a surprise for you, toh abhi prank ka prank bhi ho gaya and surprise ka surprise bhi", she said giggling cutely.

I glared at her.

"You find it funny Aakriti?", I asked her with slight coldness.

"I uhh- sorry Ansh, who flow mein thoda zyada hogaya but I will make it up to you"

Twisting her wrist behind her back and pulling her into me,

"And how are you planning to make it up to me biwi?", I whispered in her ear, gently sucking there.

Just as I expected she took in a deep breath,

"I- I have prepared your f-favourite food Ansh, l-lets have i-it", she stuttered badly and tried pushing me.

"jaan, I am not hungry right now, so why not do some work, infact you will help me in that", I said smirking.

"Huh?", she said blinking innocently, and just then I observed her outfit, black saree and red lips, uhh she will be the death of me one day.

"Where are others?", I asked her.

"The twins are in Rawat mansion, Meera is also with them and Shourya said he is out with his friends and will come tomorrow", she said looking down at the floor.

"Ahhha, we are all free then, and eyes up Mrs.Singhania, why look at the floor when you can look at something else", I said pinching her waist, while she gasped.

"Alright then, I will go change and", I said and stopped and looked at her, her cute face with that frown, uhhhh she is just irresistible.

"and?", Kriti asked.

"And I want you, all ready at our favorite place, on your fours, ready to scream my name", saying I gave her a French kiss and went in to change leaving her all flustered yet I could hear her muffled excitement and all I could do was just fall in love with my wife all over again.
