Authors POV.

A beautiful morning came by, and the birds chirping was making it more soothing and peaceful.

An excited Devansh woke up being all positive he was feeling something really good from inside.

He was getting a positive vibe for today. Had he ever been this excited for a million dollar deal no, but this time yes, yes he was.

Excited nervous all at a same time why? Because he was going on a date, for the first time, with the woman he likes. 

Shruggging all these thoughts Devansh got up to get ready for the day. 

Going downstairs he greeted everyone and took blessings from his Dadu Dadi and all the other family.

Although he does this everyday but today he had a different aura. The youngsters noticed the smile on his face, the smile which is different from the other ones.

It kinda defines as if he's shy, kinda nervous but his happiness is hiding them all. Perfectly.

All the youngest is wanted to ask what's going on they decided to stay quiet, until the elders speak or more like start talking about the topic.

" Dadu, Dadi I am taking Aakriti out today in the evening is that ok?", devansh asked.

"Of course dear you can take why you are asking our permission in this matter?", Gayatri said.

"Umm, so I'll be having the dinner over there only so don't wait up for me, everyone", Devansh said.

The youngsters look that each other and give a teasing smile towards Devansh, while the elders just nodded the head and continued their breakfast.

And on the other hand Meera was nudging Shourya to start their banter, but in return got nothing, so having nothing to say more she pouted and started digging into her vanilla donuts, which was on a special request.

Rawat Mansion. 

"Dad, mom umm, the thing is me and Devansh are going on a date today, so I will be kinda late but will be back home before 10", Aakriti said and smile.

"Yesterday, you did go on a date with him, and now you are saying today also, why do you need to go every day huh? ", Neelima said to which Naina giggled.

Paying no heed to their words, Shikhar said "do what your heart says, we are with you, do not mind what others say".

"Exactly" Nikunj and Nihaal said in unison.

Dhruv just lowered his head and continued having his breakfast, being embarrassed by what is mother and sister did.

The poor guy never understood why his mother and sister always had to meddle in Aakriti's matter. 

He always wanted to ask his father about this, but when ever he tried to ask about this, listening to his first sentence Mohan used to glare at him.

Which always succeeded in scaring the guy,  so not wanting to be in anyone's bad books he just remained quiet.

Done with her breakfast Aakriti drove off to her office.

" Nisha is there any schedule for me after 5:00 p.m?", Aakriti asked.

" Yes ma'am you do you have one meeting with the Malhotras at 5:15 p.m",Nisha said.

Aakriti frowned not remembering a meeting schedule at 5:15 p.m for today, seeing her confusion, Nisha clarified that she may have forgotten about the meeting as it was schedule almost a month back.

"Do I have any breaks before 5:00 p.m?"

" You do mam, you don't have schedule from 12:00 p.m to 3:00 p.m", Nisha replied.

"Alright then, shift meeting from 5:15 to 12:00 p.m. I don't want any schedule after 5:00 p.m today", Aakriti declared. 

"But mam, I don't think it is possible" Nisha said stuttering.

Aakriti looked at her with a sharp gaze and said,

"Then.Make.It.Possible".

Her every word carried weight, to which Nisha had to agree.

Their day went by like this, both Devansh and Aakriti were somewhere excited and nervous about that first official date.

Aakriti was excited at the same time for their date, because she didn't know where was the date, and what will they be doing.

On the other hand Devansh was busy doing all his works in a rocket speed, as he wanted to complete all his work before 1:00 p.m and start implementing on his plan for their date.

Having his lunch Devansh left from his office to get everything ready for the evening.

Being the perfectionist he is and not wanting any mistakes he himself went there to check up on everything, and what ever he had told them to prepare.

" I hope she will like the place", Devansh mumbled and smiled at everything which is perfectly set.

The clock striked 4:30 p.m. Devansh sat in his car and started driving towards "The Rawat Space".

It was a 30 minutes drive from the place so he reached around in 20 minutes as there was less traffic.

And at exactly 5:00 p.m he texted Aakriti saying his downstairs waiting for her.

Aakriti smile looking at his text as it is exactly 5:00 p.m when he texted that he is waiting for her in the lobby of her building.

Aakriti took the lift to go down and she looked at herself in the mirror being dressed in a pastel lavender anarkali which she always liked and it was kinda lucky outfit for her, with her hair open which reached down till her waist, and a small bindi.

People may wonder why is she wearing an anarkali for her date, but that's what she liked. 

She was more comfortable in these clothes, rather than the bodycon dress which she wore previously.

Once she reached down she saw Devansh leaning on his car and waiting for her.

She moved forward and Devansh held out his hand for her which she gladly took.

"You look as pretty as always", Devansh said while opening the passenger door for her.

While she blushed and tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear.

He closed her side of door and did a little jog to his his side of seat, which Aakriti found adorable.

"Shall we?", Devansh asked, looking at her.

"We shall", Aakriti replied still keep the eye contact.
