Devansh's POV

Its been almost 30 minutes that I've been playing with aaru, but I am not able to get rid of those thoughts, her thoughts.

I should get rid of these thoughts, maybe I should.......... try to date?

Oh wait that came like more question.

I'm already 28, dadu, dadi, mom all of them keep telling me to get married, I guess I should do too.

"Aaru, I will go and come back by 10 minutes, till then keep playing ok?"

"Yesh chachu", Arhaan said, I ruffled his hair, and went down to inform everyone.

Going down I called everyone.

"Dadu, dadi, chachu, chachiji, mom dad please come here, I wanna announce something".

"Arey, arey kyu chilla rahe hai?", mom asked me.

"Maa, pehele sabko aane dijiye"

"Kya ho raha hai yaha pe?", dadi asked, and chachi ji nodded at mom.

What's going on between them, I said in my mind.

"Dev, we were sayin-

I didn't let chachi ji complete and said.

"I wanna get married"

I looked at everyone expecting some reaction, but they were just looking at me as if they saw some ghost.

I waited for them, to tell something but it's been more than 3 minutes they've been looking at me and............ it's kinda creepy.

"BHAI, YOU ARE FINALLY GONNA GET MARRIED", Meera yelled on top of her lungs, and came running and hugged the shit out of me.

To her force, I stumbled a little but held and hugged her back.

Meanwhile I saw mom and chachiji talking in the corner,

[Pooja: did he hear, what we were talking?

Rekha: maybe bhabhi, or else he wouldn't come up suddenly and say this

Pooja:Now what should we do?

Rekha: nahi bhabhi, we'll not tell anything, and hear him completely

Pooja:what do you mean?

Rekha: I mean, what if he has someone?

Pooja:no no if he has someone then what about our plan?

Rekha:bhabhi, we will go there now, but won't say anything and let him complete, ok?]

Mom and chachiji came back,

"So what were you saying?", mom said

"Mom, I really wanna get married,  you all know that I'm very firm when I take a decision, and I'm firm with this one too", I said

"Do you have someone?", dadi asked.

"Haww, bhaiya you have someone and didn't tell me?", Meera asked with a pout which was a bit funny, but I controlled my laughter.

"Nope, dadi, mom and chachiji will find a girl for me" I said

"YES", chachiji shouted making everyone flinch.

"Uh huh, I'm just happy that my dev is ready to marry someone", she said genuinely.

"Alright then, start searching, for now I'll be upstairs in my study", I said and turned around.

"Dev, wait a minute", mom said.

"Yes mom?"

"Your chachiji's friend's daughter, she would be a perfect match for you, she is kind, beautiful and a self made woman, and when it comes to work she wants everything perfect, just like you", mom said.

I closed my eyes for a moment but didn't think too much.

"Alright mom, if it makes you all think she's right for me then I have.....no problem" I said after taking a deep breath.

"Mera bachha Kitna bada hogaya", dadu said with happy tears in his eyes while calling in for hug with me.

"Alright then do you wanna meet her?", chachu asked to which I hesitantly nodded.

"Perfect, I'll reserve a table for you both tomorrow, in your brother's restaurant" mom said

"Are you free tomorrow?", dad asked

"Yes dad, I'll go meet her tomorrow".

"Perfect then", dadu said

"I'll go inform my friend then", chachiji said.

I went back to my room.

Standing near the window, I stared at the sky. I could even relate my melancholy with the heavy clouds covering the sun, just like sadness coving my heart.

Oh how I wished things would've turned out the way I wished.

Sighing I went back to get a short nap.
